Re: [NV-L] Network name resolution using /etc/networks file for already discovered networks

I have not used that feature in a long
time, but I saw the same thing. I needed to rediscover the networks to
get them named. You might try unmanage/manage on the network object,
but I think you may be out of luck. Networks don't get updated during
configuration polls like nodes do.

Subject
| [NV-L] Network name resolution using
/etc/networks file for already discovered networks |
|
Hi,
We have Netview 7.1.4 with FP 05 on Windows.
We had discovered the network and realized that some of the network
addresses are missing from the C:\WINNT\System32\drivers\etc\networks file.
We addres those missing networks which are already discovered on the
topology.
We have given ample time for system to get the network names updated, but
no luck.
How can we update the network names for the networks which are already
discovered with the Network address and not Network names.
Thanx in advance.
Regards,
Santosh
