I've had a similar problem before and each time I've traced it back to a dns issue.  You might verify that your configuration for dns is accurate and working properly.

Fredo,

I tried both disabled the autodiscovery and using a seedfile. The
problem is that since last week, my demandpoll doesn't work for all
existing AND new devices anymore.
