Well my answer as a user - no authority as to what is supported or not - is that if I cannot get rid of objects any other way, then I use these commands and, so far, I have never had a corrupted database. If I was using these commands on a production system then I would be very sure that I had a backup of all my NetView databases before I used them.

That's my 2 ha'porth - any other takers??

Cheers,
Jane

Dear list,

Are those two commands valid (couldn't find from the manual:

Ovwdbdmap -d "hostname"

Ovtopofix -r "hostname"

The reason is I found objects in the database (through ovobjprint), but
not from GUI (locate...name, IP address, etc), so that I cannot adding
them to the system.

NV714 no FP on Solaris.

Need your advice.

David
