[nv-l] Web console failure.

Here's a NetView Web Console trace of an attempt to log onto the Web console from home using VPN. The first two and last five statements are identical to the results I get on an almost identical machine. Both are Windows XP SP 2. Both proceed through the login at the same pace but this machine cannot get past the point where the session characteristics are displayed ("Tivoli NetVIew - SuperUser:Unrestricted - http:146.138.xx.yy:8080"). The next step on the good machine is to change the panel color from grey to white and show the menu bar.

There's obviously something wrong. Both machines worked a week ago today. It would seem to be a problem at the laptop end since the server seems to work for all other end users. Using a different userid does not seem to make a difference. Reinstalling NVWC on the laptop didn't help.

Any ideas beyond the obvious (call in a PMR)? That's tough since I work out of town; the failing laptop is not the machine I take with me and the hotel room has a dialup line and not a DSL. That's the next step should the "community" not be able to help.
