Michael,
The short answer is that you can override the Event Class in trapd.conf,
which you can edit via the xnmtrap GUI (as I recall from your last post you
are on Solaris).
But the long answer is much more involved. Why would you need or want to
do this? Are the unreachable events the only one which is being sent as
a TEC_ITS event and all the others as the old style OV events? Usually
it's an all-or-nothing deal, depending on how you installed the product.

How does one change the Event Class in Netview 7.1.x from the New
TEC_ITS_UNREACHABLE msg back to OV_Node_Down so it goes to TEC as
OV_Node_Down
