Bernhard,
The
location of trap variables ($1, $2 etc) are dependent on the particular
trap. An easy way to find which vars are which is to generate the trap
with the popup set to $* - this will list all the variables that the trap
generates.

Hi !
I have a simple question :
I'm configuring the Tivoli NetView TRAPs
in my system, but I can't find in any documentation what should be :
$1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $6 ...
I just found $2 - Machine name ... but
now I need to configure ServiceDown Traps ... then I need Service name and
Service Status, etc ...
