I think you can verify the port settings using nvsetup
-> Configure -> Set Options for Daemons -> Configure Web Server ->
Enable Web Daemons
Since you seem to have a bunch of ports being spawned,
I'm wondering if there is a proxy server or firewall between your workstation
and the Netview host? This might explain some of the addtional
conversations??
Perhaps someone more knowledgeable about the product can
assist too - but in my situation I only see the 2 ports configured in use at my
workstation.

I think it's the same port 8080 with 8443 for the SSL portion
I ran a netstat -n and to verify
or you could use a sniffer tool (like Ethereal) to validate. Here are my
results: C:\>netstat -n

& Console(Client)
Does any one know which port does
the NetView Console(Client) uses to connect to NetVIew Server. The Web Client
uses port 8080 by default but i havent been able to figure out which ports does
the console application uses for communication with NetView Server. We have
NetView 7.1.4 For Windows.
