[nv-l] Mailing list Tip - Important
2005-04-04 07:16:39
It is apparent that in this time of spam and other associated filters,
placing three consecutive x's in a row in a message causes it to be
rejected as spam by a large number of companies/mailing hosts.
Other than using a different letter(aaa.aaa.aaa.127) I really have
no suggestions for a convention. Bottom line, use something besides
x's when trying to denote an ip address when mailing the list, if you
do not, expect that your message will only reach a select few.
From our famous from what its worth department;-)
