RE: [nv-l] Installed Products

1. Remove any files beginning with "NV" from the Tivoli .installed directories.

2. Check to be sure nothing is returned from the following commands:

wlsinst -p | grep -i netview

wlookup -ar ProductInfo | grep NV

If anything is returned, use the first field from each line of the wlookup output and run the following command for each line to remove the entries from the Tivoli database:

wregister -r ProductInfo -u <first field output, for example NVS_713>

Using the Tivoli Desktop to Install NV714 on AIX machine. This is a rebuilt machine need to put NV 714 on it. The Tivoli Desktop <ABOUT><INSTALLED PRODUCTS> shows that NV_714 is already installed. But it is not. How can I remove that entry so that I can reinstall the Netview Software?
