I can't send you the MIB because I don't have it

But I am always curious when I see a customer ask this question.  I myself have difficulty getting MIBs from other vendors because I work for IBM.  I don't have the equipment  and the vendor has no contracts or history with me.  I haven't paid for support.  In your enterprise, however, that cannot be the case.  Someone had to purchase those PBX's and install them, and presumably they have support for them.  So why can't you, or they, just call Nortel and ask for the MIB?

BTW, I went out to mibdepot.com, and while they charge a fee now for download, you can still poke around for free.  You are looking for something called the ASYNC-UPDATE-MIB.  And wht it defines is called the alarmTrap, 1.3.6.1.4.1.562.3.3.7:

Here's what it contains:
        alarmTrap GROUP 1.3.6.1.4.1.562.3.3.7
iso(1). org(3). dod(6). internet(1). private(4). enterprises(1). nt(562). meridian(3). smp(3). alarmTrap(7)
   alarmSeqNum SCALAR read-only INTEGER 1.3.6.1.4.1.562.3.3.7.1.0
   alarmTime SCALAR read-only DisplayString ( SIZE ( 0..32 ) )  1.3.6.1.4.1.562.3.3.7.2.0
   alarmSeverity SCALAR read-only INTEGER 1.3.6.1.4.1.562.3.3.7.3.0
   alarmErrorCode SCALAR read-only DisplayString ( SIZE ( 0..8 ) )  1.3.6.1.4.1.562.3.3.7.4.0
   alarmComponentId SCALAR read-only DisplayString ( SIZE ( 0..15 ) )  1.3.6.1.4.1.562.3.3.7.5.0
   alarmComponentAddress SCALAR read-only DisplayString ( SIZE ( 0..15 ) )  1.3.6.1.4.1.562.3.3.7.6.0
   alarmDescriptiveText SCALAR read-only DisplayString ( SIZE ( 0..240 ) )  1.3.6.1.4.1.562.3.3.7.7.0
   alarmOperatorData SCALAR read-only DisplayString ( SIZE ( 0..160 ) )  1.3.6.1.4.1.562.3.3.7.8.0
   alarmExpertData SCALAR read-only DisplayString ( SIZE ( 0..160 ) )  1.3.6.1.4.1.562.3.3.7.9.0
   alarmCounts SCALAR read-only DisplayString ( SIZE ( 0..15 ) )  1.3.6.1.4.1.562.3.3.7.10.0

While this isn't the MIB, it's more than enough to use todefine the trap yourself, using xnmtrap.
