Sorry for the delayed response, so what your saying is to create a script that does the checking and depending on the return code it would cause either for the inline action to continue the rule processing or simply stop it.

You would have to code this in a user exit, an in-line action script you write yourself. Keep it quick and short. All ruleset processing will be suspended while your script executes.

Hello List - NV 7.1.4 FP1 Linux RH7.2
Is there a way to set a ruleset to only work on specific hours? I was thinking of someway to check the system time and if it is between a certain time to stop processing the rule.
Any suggestions?
