Hi All.
Just for the email continuity sake I would like to add a brief email with some
findings regarding to the GTM deamon.

By using the GTMD service we can create a separate topology and associate it to
an IP map icon.

We should create a vertex object and create a service access point (SAP) that
relates the icon with the IP box.
Once this is done, The icon will be linked to the IP object and the IP submap
that contains the IP interface will display the non-ip icon. The IP interface
will also appear in the submap where the vertex was originally added (non-ip
The sap service should indicate the vertex name, the IP address of the target
ip object and the vertex index in the GTM db. This index is managed externally
if using GTM trap interface or internally if using API access.

The examples given ("SG24-4515-00/GG24-4059-00") were although a bit short very

although that is basically true, it is not completely correct.

if you look at the redbooks "SG24-4515-00/GG24-4059-00", there is a way to
draw "custom symbols" on the "ipmap".
