If the map they are watching (run either
by netviewd or the one you have up on the console), the java users get
a message and their map goes away, but the java client stays up. They can
do 'File..Open' when a map is restarted. But if the webserver daemon is
stopped, then their java client will give a message and close when they
OK it.
So there is a difference between closing
the console on the server, and shutting down the processes on the server.
Tell us more about the problem you are trying to solve.

Hi Folks,
Is there a way that I can configure the Netview not to
close the client (unix and Web console) when the server is down?
Thank You,
Meyos
