Are these ATM WAN interfaces? If so, then it's a known code issue
(displays like an unnumbered interface problem) with Nortel routers. I
don't know the specifics, however...

Hello list,

I am facing the following problem: We have about 200 branches (ARN
Nortel routers) and for some branches about 10, the routers are shown as
yellow. When I check the interfaces I see that the WAN interface is red.
When I test the interface (ping) the interface responds and becomes
green. After some seconds it goes back to read state. Any ideas why this
is happening will be greatly appreciated.

Netview 7.1.1

AIX 4.3

ARN Nortel Routers
