Re: [nv-l] Solaris Bad PDU Type

Most likely a bad formed packet is coming in. As you know a SNMP
trap has several requirements to be a trap. Something is not there
in that packet. Capture it and break it down, when you find the
problem, contact the vendor. Is there an easier way anyone?

I remember seeing this mentioned in the forum somewhere but can't find
it in the archives. Does anyone know what this message means:
<hostname> /usr/lib/snmp/snmpdx: [ID 702911 daemon.error] bad PDU type
