Re: [nv-l] Transfering v712 db to v714

Are you trying to switch operating systems too?
Reset_ci is a script and you can trace it if you like.
It appears that you are having trouble running ovdelobj and ovaddobj, re-registering the daemons.
Do those command work on your 7.1.4 system?
It's as if you are on AIX, which does not use .so libraries and trying to run executables from either Solaris or Linux, which do.

Subject: [nv-l] Transfering v712 db to v714

I've tar'ed off our v712 database and then moved it to a upgraded machine
with v714 and used pax to uncompress it. I then ran reset_ci and I'm having
problems. Did I miss something that needed to be done to move a db to v714?
I didn't see anything in the release notes... maybe I just missed it.
Here's the errors I'm getting:

you will receive a reset_ci finished message.
