1.3.6.1.2.1.8888 is the Fiber Channel Management MIB. Have seen
traps with this identifier from McData SAN switches. HTH, Karin -----Original

Cannot identify OID
Right
1.3.6.1.2 would place it under the mgmt.mib-2 but what the 8888 can stand for
I have no clue.
Thanks for the info.

Enterprise IODs would begin 1.3.6.1.4, NOT
1.3.6.1.2. I believe you have something sending bad traps.. -----Original

Hello list,
I am receiving a DEFAULT FMT event with an OID of
1.3.6.1.2.1.8888 but I have not been able to identify what the ..8888
stands for. Does anyone know of any sites where I can do an OID search? Or if
by some chance recognize this OID?
Thanks.
