RE: [nv-l] CPU monitoring on routers/switches

Sorry,
the mib variable for the router CPU would be: .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.50
(avgBusy5)
As
far as I am aware you cannot monitor the 6509 CPU.
Since the Cisco 6509 is a layer 2 switch, all of the packet work is
done with hardware switching. The literally (as far as I am aware) no mib
variable for the switch CPU since the CPU does no work (or not much) after the
box is initialized.
NV 7.1.4 on W2K
I need to monitor CPU and memory from a Cisco Catalyst 6509
running CATOS 6.3.
How can I get this information on NetView ? What configurations
should be done to be possible to get this kind of info from any router or
switch ?
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you.
