List,

I'm using Snmp Data Collection to poll routers for locifCRC errors and
update the event screen when condition has been met. When the condition is
met NetView specific trap 58720264 fires. I have then modified this trap to
fire an email. I'm having to work on a live system so testing has not been
easy. I am unable to generate errors on a production E3, therefore I have
been using snmptrap to simulate trap 58720264 coming into Netview, however I
have been unable to duplicate the exact format generated by snmpcollect
threshold firing. Where can I find the format of trap 58720264, I've been
able to add the first oid for the error type but do not know what I should
use to generate the threshold passed information. Any details on where I can
find this information would be appreciated.

I'm using netview 7.1.3 on AIX5.

Regards
Peter Ingleson
