NetView does not send mail notifications, so if you're getting it, someone 
at your site set that up.  Is the authentication failure trap configured 
to send mail?

                    Quick question. I am receiving the follow error in
mail/root :

I am also get the following event : 1056025741 4  Thu Jun 19 08:29:01 2003
Netview IP address             A IBM Incorrect
 Community Name (authenticationFailure Trap)


AIX 5.1   Netview 7.1.3
