Yeah that's true, but that's total throughput on the circuit.  For instance you can have several people transferring continuous data back and forth on a T1 and still only half of the circuit could be utilized.

Does anyone know a tool that can monitor throughput?  The only way I can think of measuring throughput would be manually FTPing a file.  Is there a tool out there that can do this automatically?  I was thinking of using a Speed Test website, but that would measure throughput between my sources and the internet.
