What platform?  AIX?
Issue "startsrc -s snmpd" from the command line and see what you get. Then 
go check the snmpd.log for error messages.  /etc/snmpd.conf will tell you 
where it is.

        Subject:        [nv-l] SNMPD won't start



Can't get this service to start.  Netmon.trace tells me that most likely 
the community name in snmpd.conf in ETC, and ovsnmp.conf in usr/OV/conf 
don't match.  I've looked at these files and the community name matches.  Any 
clues??
