You can also just create a new map, from the File pull down.  That one 
will adhere to your new location.conf.  If you don't like it, you can then 
delete it and try again.  Some folks eventually rename the one they like 
to "default" and go back to just one map.

It is my understanding that the only way to do this is to do automatic map
generation. The maps are deleted and rebuilt.

Hi,

how is it possible to have netview re-read the location.conf file ?
is a ovstop netmon/ovstart netmon enough ? or is it necessary to stop and
restart every daemons ?

AIX 4.3.3, Netview 7.1.3
