Thanks James, i understand better now, i have others few question if i
may :

1- To retrieve arp cache from other boxes (like router) do i need to
talk snmp ? if yes, do i need to know the snmp community or the public
community is enough (in the case of internet router)

2- When netview discover (initial discovery seeds) some router with big
arp cache does the processus of retrieving the ip adress data is
automatic ? do i need to set something in netview or in my own arp cache
?

3- In my case of i do some tests with  internet connection, it is
possible to ask internet router to give to netview the data ?

 I'm sorry if my questions is very basic...i will seach also for
documentation about arp.. do you know some... ?
