Hi again,

any hint or advice why Netview only discover node if and only if when i
ping a node or when i add a ip adress in the seed file => "initial
discovery seed" ?? 


Hint will be apreciated

Hi all, NV 7.1.3 and fixpack 1 on RH linux


Even i setup correctly my seed file and discovery polling, NETVIEW seem
to discover nothing automaticly...

The only way that Netview discover something is when i ping a node...
(then i see a green box showing this node...)

why netmon dosen't discover my ip range automaticly ?
Do i need to do something else ?
