Try putting the network names in /etc/networks, not /etc/hosts

Subject: [nv-l] Object names
Hello List:
Netview 7.1
AIX 4.3.3
I have updated the /etc/hosts file and now all the devices shows their own
name in the Netview map, but I also want to set a name to the network
objects,
I have updated also the network names in the hosts file, but it doesn't
work and if I assign manually the object name, Netview automatically
changes
it to the ip address.
Do you kniow if is there a way to set names to the network objects???
Thanks. Regards
Saludos.
