Hi Peter,
You should do the integration through T/EC, because it´s intentionaly better
to filter only those CRITICAL events to open a call or problem in Remedy.
But you have to be prepared to do a lot of customization on the Tec rules to
treat yours situations. And be prepared to customize the rule-sets and
create some scripts to create some particular traps in Netview.
The solution is very robust and works very well, but demands some work.
Here we use ServiceCenter of Peregrine integrated with T/EC.
I hope this information is usefull.
bye

Assunto: [nv-l] Netview Integration
Lists,
Has anyone integrated Netview with Remedy Helpdesk. Is this the correct
approach or should the integration be done via the TEC for instance. Any
comments would be appreciated.
I'm currently running 7.1.2 on Aix 4.3.3 ML 10.
Regards
Peter
