Re: [nv-l] Change the label of interface

Netview can be configured to do it one way or the other, but it is an
all-or-nothing choice for the whole map. Under
File...Edit..Modify/Describe...Map,
bring up the options for ipmap. One of the options is for labeling
interface cards.
When you OK everything, the change is made all at once for everything.
You can change it back if you don't like it.

label of interface
01/02/2003 11:13 AM
Hi all:
I ' m trying to change the label of the cards of the routers.They appear
with ip adress, but I want to put the type of interfaces that is: Serial0,
ETH0 etc.
I do this change in:
Edit ->Modify/describe-->symbol-->Label .
But these changes do not remain, the interface turns the ip adress. There
is some way in order that these changes are permanent?
Thanks
