I'm not sure what it takes. I think you'll have a really hard time getting
the daemons running as non-root whereas the GUI should be possible.

I suggest that you look at hardening the platform in stead and make it as
secure as NetView will allow in order to prevent intrusions.

Hi Everybody!
I am running NetView on AIX. NetView ver 7.1.2 and AIX 4.3.3.
I want to be able to fully administer NetView application as a non-root
The idea is to create "netview" user and configure all NetView processes run
as "netview".
Can it be done?
