Hiyas
maybe
Im wrong but if you cut nodes from all submaps, it will also cut the nodes from
all smartsets and if you paste them, they all (including the ones from the
smartsets) apear in your paste section.
Well I
just tested it, and it happens to me too if I cut em from all submaps. I always
use cut from this submap to move them arround.
Delete
them and let them recover should fix it.

It wouldn't
surprise me if this is resolved by an ipmap efix that support can make
available to you. You would need to upgrade to at least 7.1.1 to apply this
efix. Also, have you considered using a location.conf file. There have been
some enhancements in this area as of 7.1

Subject: [nv-l] Multiple copies of
nodes on Map
|
We recently
upgraded to Netview 7.1. So we had to clean up the maps all over again.
While I was on vacation they had someone new start to place the
discovered nodes in their proper U.S. states folders on the World map(which is
default). So I am back now and created a U.S. submap for the states.
Problem is when I cut the nodes from the folders in the World map and
then paste them in the U.S. map they are pasted with multiple copies of each
node(they have the grey overshadow). I counted atleast 13 copies for
each node when I pasted. When I cut I make sure I cut from all submaps.
The person that did this before kept saving the work he did as different
maps but I blew all of them away except for one and it still is doing this.
What can be the problem?
Thanks,
Mike
