Hi,
Its not a big deal to do it by hand.
copy bitmaps/mibs/fields to the linux box.
load the mibs (V1,V2 for web mib browser)
add Cisco OID's to oid_to_type and oid_to_sym
run /usr/OV/bin/ovw -config
run /usr/OV/bin/ovw -fields
run /usr/OV/bin/ovw -verify
Add the Client WEBServer XML for Cisco
/usr/OV/www/webapps/netview/warf/Templates/WebConsole/CiscoMenu.xml

as a hint you may look @ the CiscoNetview Adapter unzip it - and check the
installation Script. (NetView71AIXServerAdapter.jar)
On the Cisco box you should find all Integration stuff under
/opt/CSCOpx/nmim

James,
does the non-support of Linux by Cisco really matter if Netview &
Ciscoworks are running on two separate boxes ? Imagine Netview (with
Integration kit) is running on Linux and Ciscoworks is running on Solaris,
then I think your kit is worth running. Am I wrong ?
