You might try setting the modem initialization string to ATZ (factory) in the 
modem config file and you might also try 2400 baud instead of the default. 
These are reccommendations from US Robotics on the subject.

AIX4.3.2, Netview 6.2

I have a little problem with nvpage.
>From time to time the page don't go out of the AIX.
The modem dial, try to send the message out and hang up. And it try again,
and again, and again, etc.
To solve the problem it have to do a ovstop and ovstart.
After that the next page it alright.

Have someone saw that problem ?
