I think this is a problem with ipmap which is fixed in 6.0.3.
Take down your GUI and restart it, and get on 6.0.3  ASAP

AIX 4.3.3 NetView 6.0.2
I have an admin whos nv6000.log file is growing to 600 megs in 2 days with 
the following messages repeating over and over:
recv_event: recv_eventrecv_trap failed

recv_event: recv_trap failed
recv_eventrecv_event: : recv_trap failedrecv_trap failed
recv_event: recv_trap failed
recv_event: recv_trap failed
recv_event: recv_trap failed

Ideas?
