Subject: [nv-l] Root access in AIX

I have a concern, will someone clarify this for me:
I was told that in Netview AIX the console access will require you to use
SMIT on AIX to execute commands that you are accustom to completing via
command line. I've also been told that all commands have to have root
access. Root access was required to perform software upgrades of which we
do not have and have to rely on AIX group to perform these tasks.
