This is a multipart message in MIME format. As far as I know, all the problems you personally reported to Support have
been fixed, the last ones in 6.0.3.
The biggest cause of those problem seems to have been that Novell wrote
their MIBs to format traps in a particular way on some version of
OpenView, using facilities which NetView did not support. If you want the
latest mib2trap executable you can get that from Support. That should
provide the most readable versions of their traps you can get, given that
NetView does not support such syntax as $%x and $%n to cause substitution
from other files.
But I am not certain why you are still looking. Once you get one
trapd.conf which looks and acts the way you want it, you can just ftp it
to another NetView and run nvaddtrapdconf to have it merged with the one
on the target box. So even if you got around problems in the past by
formatting their traps one at a time, there is no reason to do it again.
As for loading MIBs, I am not aware of any V1 Netware MIBs we don't load,
and in 6.0.3, the V1/V2 loader will support all V2 MIB constructs except
"Agent Capabilities". But then I have only tried the ones people have
sent me via Support calls.

Subject: [NV-L] Managing Netware servers via NetView
I have had very mixed success getting Novell MIBs to compile on NetView
and slightly less success with formatting their traps. Has any one
discovered a good source of "clean" Novell MIBs and trap definitions.
Any suggestions/comments/thoughts are eagerly sought.
Thanks in advance,
Alec Himwich
