Hi everybody:

The problem I have is the following:

When Netview finds a new router's interface, it does not associate it with
to the router it belongs to. What Netview does is to create a new router
using the IP address as the router's name. Therefore duplicating the router
and creating as many routers as interfaces.

How can I guarantee that every new interface discovered is assigned to the
router it belongs to?. Avoiding in this way the duplication of the
router.

The only way that I have found to stop the problem is to add the IP address
in the corresponding reverse resolution zone of the DNS, pointing to the
router's name.

Is there a simpler way?, I have a lot of interfaces and a lot of routers
and I don't want to add them all to the DNS manually.

Thanks for your help.

Best Regards,

José Alejandro Arcila.
