Grant, thats not a bad idea, but I thought using a board for each of the
topics would allow some discussion. What some folks might view as an
enhancment others may view as a step backward. We need conversation (re:
flamewar) on each topic to shake out the best suggestions. If folks want to
send me the enhancment stuff that is fine, but I would just post it on each
of the appropriate boards and let the disscusion (re: argument) begin. When
the group reaches consensus (re: begs for mercy) we would produce a document
with the final enhancment recommendation.

Anyone else have any thoughts?

I would hazard a guess at this Mailing List being the largest "un-official"
Netview User Group around.
We need to organise ourselves so that our voice is heard when it comes to
enhancements to this product.

If its ok with Scott Barr (since he's already volunteered), can everybody
on the list forwards their top 5 enhancements to him. (I would do it, but
being an IBMer... probably better to have someone independant do it).

Scott could then correlate the enhancements and provide a top 10 list,
along with the number of requestees for each enhancement.
Is this ok with you Scott?

I suggest that we keep Unix / NT enhancements separate, given the
differences betwen the products.

As for David Tremblay's comment about it being in IBM's best interest to
have a User group assist in the evolution of the product, that is very
true, but surely it is even more important for the User's of the product to
have their say?
