NetView version 6.01
AIX version 4.3.3

NetView does not generate a IBM_SUGUP_EV event (Mid
Level Manager Up) or IBM_SUGDOWN_EV event (Mid Level
Manager Down) when the MLM daemon is recycled. Even
doing a demandpoll on the MLM boxes doesn't generate
these events. All that NetView receives is the
following trap:

  A IBM Agent Up with Possible Changes (coldStart
Trap)            
            
What could be missing that's causing this. Any
clues...?
