I would always setup my DNS with just the loopback address in the DNS forward
lookup tables and then put all the interfaces in the reverse lookup (resolving
to a single box name).  Your loopback interface is the one guaranteed to
respond if anything does.  You then put the loopback in the seedfile, again
'cos that's the one most likely to respond.
