Hi, George. Assuming you have configured the mouse so it knows it
is a 3-button mouse (and I cannot remember where that was done but
I think it was in eXceeds somewhere), I have sometimes had trouble
with this too and I think it was resource-related, because if I retried it
several times it eventually worked. I know this was the case with
breaking off the control desk.

I know that this is not a forum for Hummingbird Exceed problems.... but I
am having difficulty in Netview with my mouse middle button - can't drag
and drop (sounds like a dance from the 50s) the event window, move icons in
the ruleset editor, etc.. I've searched the Exceed help and done internet
searches to no avail. Has anyone had a similar problem? Any ideas?

I am using Netview 6.02 on AIX4.3.3; Hummingbird Exceed 4.00.5000 with a
mouse that has 3 buttons/scroll key; windows NT desktop.
