You could have a Rule that watches for status changes in the
things that are in the Collection, and take an action at that point.
That would probably be Interface Down or Interface Up events,
then use the Query Database Collection cube to check the
Origin (or variable 2)  for membership in the Collection you want
to watch.

I am running Netview 5.1.3 on AIX. Is it possible to perform an action from
the status of a collection group. e.g. (send a trap to events or open a
Remedy ticket.)
