I would expect you would have problems with the databases for the same
reason that you cannot have mixed Digital and Solaris clients and servers.
The underlying differences between the Solaris "big endian" architecture
and the Digital "little endian" architecture means that you cannot replace
one with another.

I know I can use a migration install to move NetView from one machine to
another while preserving my customisation, but has anyone tried this to
port between different NetView Server architectures??  My scenario is
NetView 5.x on Digital to NetView 6.x on Solaris.
