Most likely the system does not know that you want these changes merged
into the Xdefaults.  This is especially true if you are using the CDE,
which does not merge agin after startup.  You can try logging completely
out of the box and back in again so that the CDE is restarted, or  you can
merge Nvevents with Xdefaults using the command,
xrdb -merge <full path to Nvevents>

Hi,

I'm trying to change the parameters of nvevents (colors, attachement to the
IP map, card/list etc.)
I copied the /usr/OV/app-defaults/Nvevents in my home directory and made
the
changes, but it doesn't seem to take them into consideration as when I
start
up the map and when I start it up in standalone (command nvevents).

What is wrong with this ? did I miss anything ? I verified there is no
blank
at the end of the config lines. How can I debug this ?
I'm using netview 6.0 on solaris 2.6
