You caught me just kidding.  I do
a backup every morning at 3 AM
(well, the cron does).

In addition to the tar (mine is exactly
like the one you showed), I also do a
cpio of /usr/OV/conf and all subdirectories
in case there were some configuration file
changes I had made that day.

My backup has saved me more than once!
