While NV 6.0 UNIX release notes make it quite clear that  NV supports only
Sybase,Oracle, DB2 and Informix for the database, at  TMF level 3.6.x, RIM
does in fact support MS-SQL.    From a purely technical standpoint , it
stands to reason that one *should* be able to get it working (but
non-supported, of course).    I would think one would need only:

1.  Create a custom script  to define the DB and tables.
2.  Follow the procedures to create a RIM object and configure the NV
database environment as outlined in the DB Guide.

Has anyone tried this?   Are there any hidden "show-stoppers?"
