This is still required. 6.0.1 is a maintenance release and requires 6.0 to
be installed already.

Tivoli's RIM and an RDBMS supported by RIM. There is a databases guide
manual in html and pdf format shipped with NetView which you should consult
before going ahead. You must also install database support from the
NetView CD if you have not done so already.

It should work fine with 3.6.1, 3.6.2, 3.6.3, or 3.7
