NetView 5 used a modified version of Apache to provide
web service, so you really won't be able to substitute
some other web server that provides SSL support. NetView
6 uses the Jetty server provided by Mortbay... Support
for SSL has just recently been added to that server, but
changes would also need to be made to the NetView client
to enable it to use HTTPS.

If you would like to see SSL supported in an upcoming
version of NetView, you should send your request to
netview AT tivoli DOT com for consideration.

is there an option in either Netview Version 5 or 6 on AIX 4.3 to run a
secured web server daemon (NetviewWebServer) (either https or S-HTTP)?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks and have a great day! :-)
