Hi Steyland,

To switch to a new IP adress go through the following prozedure:

     Configure TCP/IP and hostname information
     Run /usr/OV/services/reset_ci
     Run xnmsnmpconf -clearCache
     Run mapadmin -u
Check next under Options ... SNMP Configuration for valid host names
Review /etc/snmpd, filesystems, hosts and profile files
and last: recycle the snmpd deamon (refresh -s snmpd)

Gruesse - Best regards

Good Morning -

Our NetView Backup server has been moved to another location requiring a new
IP address. What are the necessary steps to make the server operational in
its new home?

THX - Steyland
