This is IY09934 and should be fixed in 6.0.1, which is due out in the third
quarter.

I have done two fresh installs of NetView 6.0 on AIX 4.3.3 and an upgrade
from 5.1.1 to 6.0. I all three cases the smit menu for nv6000 gives me an
error. When I try to set options for daemons I get an error:

1820-037  internal error occurred. Look at log file for more info.

The smit.log file has these entries:

180-083 Data error: could not find matching ring field value for
corresponding Command_to_Discover value.
sm_cmd_opt[14].disc_field_name:..

It looks like when NV6.0 was installed it did not create appropriate (
complete ) entries in the ODM for smit menus.

Has anyone else encountered this problem, and is there a fix for it?
