Why don't you use crontab with smitty nv6maint and choose manage crontab entries
to run a script that run ovstop netmon and ovstart netmon at specific time each
day?

I have customer that would like to do status polling to workstations only
at night ...
Is their a way to force netmon to do this polling starting at midnight ? ?
Namely like AT command in unix and not based on time intervals .
Thanks Dror
